Finito

In Italian, there are two translations for the word finito. It means finished, but depending on what helping verb you put in front of it, you are either finished or dead. This morning, I registered for my very first 5K. I've NEVER run in a race. I shlepped through a social mile walk last fall and wanted to do more. So, here's my commitment to be healthier. I'm running on April 30 in the Race for a Cure 5K. And I will be finito one way or the other.

Start the program Couch to 5K right now and you will have an easier time running!! I did it last year and I am so not a runner, but I ended up doing 2 5ks!! Good luck!

You can do it! I have never run in a race officially either. I did sign up for a half marathon in June and I am excited and nervous as well. Good Luck!

Yay! That's awesome! Races are so addicting- I love the atmosphere. Maybe I will do the race with you too! We'll see, I'm already doing 2 in April. Yay for running!

I signed up for a 5K at Thanksgiving and it was a great motivator. Speaking of which...I really should sign up for another one!!! Good luck!!!

Good for you! My husband is running his first marathon this June. I am just happy that I haven't died on the treadmill!

Found you from another mommy blog! :)
