A Long Day

Today was one of those days where I couldn't wait to put the kids down for bed because I knew they'd sleep like rocks. This is what our day looked like:

8:00am--Take Palmer to preschool
8:30am--Work out at the gym for an hour
9:40am--Grocery Shopping
10:30am--Brave the post office to mail a package
11:00am--Wait for the slowest train ever for 15 minutes
11:15am--Pick up Palmer and Logan (a friend's son whose in the same class as Palmer)
11:45am--Take Logan home (yes, it often takes us 30 minutes to get the kids all bundled up, walk out to the car and get them home in one piece)
12:00pm--Head over to the Carpenters' for some much needed lunch and playtime.
3:30pm--We finally left the Carpenters' and headed home for a little break. I'm sure Emily was glad to be rid of us.
5:00pm--Dinner without Daddy, because Tuesday's his night class.
5:45pm--Watch a little TV (while Mommy finally showers for the day)
6:15pm--Bath time
6:45pm--A little more TV while we wait for Dad to get home
7:15pm--Prayers and Brush teeth
7:30pm--BED TIME!

Needless to say, most of our days are crazy but this one was extra fun. It was a crazy morning and a fun afternoon. I think this says it all. This is what I found when I went into the family room to call the kids for dinner.

You have good sleepers!! The day I find Isaac out cold on the couch will be a day when pigs fly!

I can't wait for the day when Aaron falls asleep from exhaustion. It's always a fight to get him to sleep, and lately to stay in his bed. It probably felt worse because you're pregnant too.
