Congratulations Jason and Katy!

So, I stole this photo from my SIL, Elli, because Ronell has his camera with him in Moab and because I have to show off Elli's photographic talents to everyone. Jason and Katy got married last Saturday and I'm so excited to have another girl in the family. It was a beautiful ceremony and lots of fun. I can't wait to get to know Katy and have more fun with the new family.

Palmer was the ring bearer and thought the pillow was for sitting on or throwing. It was a little mortifying. Thanks, Katy, for not caring that my kid desecrated your rings. Here are my kids having a little too much fun at the candy table.

We actually managed to get a family picture before the chaos began. This was before my kids found the mud and grass outside. Note Palmer's high priest (aka, too short for his big belly) tie.

A Little Randomness

So, it's been an interesting week. My sister, Lexie, loves to makes good/bad lists. So here's mine for this week.

Good:

*I finished "Breaking Dawn". I can't decide if I liked the book or I'm just glad it's over. I really tried not to like this series but I guess I'm just 15 at heart.

*I learned how to applique. Yes, I'm a quilting nerd and proud of it.

*Today is Ronell's last day of work. Some may say that that's a bad thing (No income is kinda bad) but I'm glad that I get to spend some time with him before the madness that is BYU MBA program begins.

Bad:

*I started off this week with the stomach flu, which was not fun. I finally started feeling better yesterday. Just in case you can't read, that's the FLU and nothing else. Now THAT would be the worst thing ever right now.

*Both my kids got sick, too, and were up all night Wednesday throwing up. It was also not fun. Thankfully, they're getting better and eating more.

*The worst news EVER!!! Twitch didn't win. The only consolation I have is that I get to see him, along with Will, Katee, Chelsie, and other favorites from SYTYCD in a month.

That's my week in a nutshell (Hee,hee Mike Myers). I'm glad it's over and I can get back to enjoying my quickly fleeting summer.
