Springtime....Wonderland?

Yesterday was April 15th. A memorable day each year, it's true. But as I put my kids down for a nap around noon, here's the view from my bedroom window.....

About 30 minutes later, this was my view....

This morning, when I walked outside, this is what I saw.....
I don't know if you can see the large green branch on the ground. That fell on Ronell's car this morning. So far we can't see any damage to the car, though.

On the upside, I got some cool pictures of the trees outside my condo.

P.S. Easter photos are coming. I'm still fixing them in photoshop but they will be here before the weekend.....I hope.

Autism Awareness

This is my cousin's adorable little boy, Dre. I recently found out that this wonderful, sweet little man has autism. It breaks my heart but my cousin, Austin, and his wife, Crystal are superheros for the way they've handled this whole battle. Reading their story broke my heart but also made me realize that the Lord strengthens us to face the battles we have in life. For those of you (like me) who know little about autism, now's your chance to become aware. April is autism awareness month and it's opened my eyes to so many things. It's becoming more prevalent in our day and no one quite knows why. To learn more, go to the Autism society website.
